  • Introduction
  • LocalVocal is collectively represents the domain name: localvocalapp.in and the mobile App LocalVocal. It is a platform to connect local businesses with local customers. Local businesses can advertise their products or services and track customer response via means of chat or call enquiries. Local customers can search and browse for local deals and offers. For the purpose of these Terms of Use, the term “Content” refers to any user generated data including, but not limited to, posts, photos, audio clips, text, animations, graphics, logos or anything else made accessible on our App. The Terms of Use may be revised or altered by the Company at its sole discretion at any time without any prior intimation to the Users. The latest Terms of Use will be posted here. By continuing to use or access the App after changes are made, you agree to be bound by the revised/altered Terms of Use.
  • Registration
  • In order to access and use our App, you must first register and create an account with us (“Customer account”). If you intend to promote your business locally, then you can also create a “Business account” during the time of sign-up or anytime in future in the App. Before creating an account, you will be asked to review and accept these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. The personal data related to your accounts will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Guest Access
  • You are allowed to browse through our App using an optional “Guest” session. However, you still have to review and accept these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before entering the App. Any type of activity other than browsing will require you to sign-up and register an account with us.
  • Account Misuse
  • If anyone other than yourself accesses your Customer/Business account, they may perform actions that are solely available to you, make changes to your accounts, publish various content, etc. Any such action/activity will be deemed to have occurred on your behalf and in your name. If you are aware of any such breach, you must contact us immediately on complaints@localvocalapp.in
  • Content Appropriateness Policy
  • Any type of user generated content on the App must not fall into any of these categories: abusive, illegal, objectionable, hateful, harassing, bullying, violent, repulsive, harmful, deceitful, dangerous, spam, scam, sensitive, sexual, profane, addictive or any other type deemed inappropriate by other users on the App. Such content would be liable to be pulled down immediately either automatically or when reported by sufficient number of unique users. Continuous violation of this policy will eventually result in the account getting blocked.
  • User Generated Content (UGC)
  • Among other activities, Business Account users on LocalVocal can create advertisement posts which are visible to everyone on the platform. Similarly, Customer Account users can create discussion topics which are also visible to everyone on the platform. This type of UGC must comply with our content appropriateness policy (read above). Strict adherence to this policy applies to all type of UGC - text or media on ads, discussions, replies, reviews, comments, etc
  • Promotion of Restricted Materials
  • LocalVocal allows businesses to promote their products and services. However, we do not support promotion or sale of illegal, inappropriate and unapproved substances on the platform. Any type of unapproved or banned substances in your country should not be promoted through the App. If reported, the account will be immediately blocked and subject to further investigation. Besides, such promotion/sale activities will be reported to appropriate judicial authorities in the jurisdiction of the promoter.
  • Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Subscriptions to various premium plans on LocalVocal App are generally non-refundable. However, if you believe your situation warrants a refund, you can submit a written request to contact@localvocalapp.in. Our backend team will review your request for its credibility. If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 days. Please note that approval of refund requests is at the discretion of the company, based on the assessment of each individual case.
